Marmaris
Marmaris is situated at the southwest coast of Turkey , also known as the pearl of the Mediterranean. Situated between green hills at a crystal clear blue bay, with the comfort of a cool sea breeze. The name Marmaris dates back to the time of Sultan Suleyman the Great. After sighted the Bodrum castle, Sultan Suleyman hired an architect to build the exact same castle in Marmaris. After finishing the castle Sultan Suleyman decided it was too small and he furiously ordered; "Mimar as!" which means; "hang the architect". Through the years these words were formed into the name Marmaris. The castle still exists and is situated in the old town of Marmaris , during the day it is open for public.
Since 15 years Marmaris has been discovered by tourism, and especially
the last couple of years Marmaris has been grown into a lively holiday resort with unlimited opportunities. Marmaris Boulevard reaches 5 kilometer and whether you like relaxing at the beach, shopping, enjoying a nice dinner or taste the great night life; all these are possible in Marmaris. Icmeler
Icmeler is situated at the same bay as Marmaris, just a couple of kilometers further on. This place is smaller than Marmaris, but equally when it comes to beauty. The boulevard stretches all the way from Marmaris center up to Icmeler. Especially the beach is worth visiting and lots of restaurants and shops can be found in Icmeler.

In the direct surrounding of Marmaris the places Turunc, Selimiye, Orhaniye en Gokova are situated. These holiday resorts are situated at small idyllic bays with beautiful nature surrounded by the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea .
Gocek
About 1.5 hours from Marmaris lays Gocek, well known in the yachting world. Gocek is one of the most important points for the blue cruise- and bareboat trips. This is a gorgeous small town which lays in a bay with many islands.
